Specialist therapeutic support for children, young people and adults
At Quince Counselling, we provide professional, compassionate counselling for children, adolescents and adults experiencing a wide range of emotional, mental health and behavioural challenges. Our work includes support for anxiety, low mood, anger, self-esteem, relationships, life changes, and more.
We work with schools across the South, alongside children’s services, and through our private counselling hub — creating safe, consistent spaces where people feel heard, understood and supported.
We are proud to have been finalists in the local business awards, recognising the positive impact of our work in the community.
Our approach is relational, practical and tailored. We recognise that not everyone finds it easy to express themselves through words alone, so we meet each person where they are — emotionally, physically and socially — and help them develop healthier ways to cope.
What Makes Quince Counselling Different
Counselling That Connects
Our counselling helps individuals to:
Understand and manage emotions
Improve self-regulation and behaviour
Build confidence and self-worth
Develop healthier coping strategies
Strengthen communication and relationships
We regularly work in mainstream, specialist and alternative provision schools, and act as an alternative provision partner, supporting pupils who cannot access traditional education.
Our Unique Gym Therapy
Our gym-based therapeutic sessions are like no other.
Using sport — primarily boxing — we help people:
Release anger and frustration safely
Channel negative energy into focus and strength
Experience positive endorphins through movement
Build confidence, control and discipline
Increase emotional awareness through physical activity
This approach is particularly helpful for those who struggle with traditional talking therapies, offering a positive and empowering way to engage in counselling.

Our Promise
At Quince Counselling, every person is treated as an individual — not a label, not a behaviour, not a problem to fix. We believe in accessible, compassionate support and in giving people the tools they need to feel safe, understood and capable of positive change.
Because when people feel supported, they can begin to thrive.
